How engagements are set up

The engagement models, the terms that apply, what happens to your data, code and IP, and the details procurement asks for.

Engagement models

Each step of our approach is its own engagement, with its own quote. You can start with a review and stop there.

A fixed-fee review of the AI you run or plan to run: how it is built, what it can reach, what it costs and where the gaps are.

Fixed fee.

We design the architecture and write the code with your engineers. The controls, the measures and the handover are part of the build.

Terms

Fixed fee where the scope is defined, milestone-based where it is not yet.

Once the system is live, we review changes, re-test and keep the architecture current as models, tools and needs change.

Monthly retainer. 3-month minimum.

Led by our founder: Every engagement is led by our founder, Leone Lage Perdigão, from the first call to handover.
Quoted after the first call: We scope the work on a 30-minute call and send a quote afterwards.
Fixed fees where scope allows: You know the fee before we start. Where the scope is still open, the fee is milestone-based.
Nothing auto-renews: A project ends when the agreed work is done. The retainer runs month to month after its 3-month minimum and continues only if you choose to extend it.
3-month minimum on the retainer: Run & evolve is a monthly retainer with a 3-month minimum. It continues only if you choose to extend it.

The contract for each engagement sets the exact terms. This is our starting point.

Confidentiality: We sign an NDA before any technical material changes hands.
Your data: We work in your environments, with the least access the work needs and only for the agreed work. We do not use your data for other clients or for our own projects, and when the engagement ends we return or delete what we hold.
Code and documentation: Code we write for you is written in your repository. The code, the architecture and the documentation we produce for you are yours to keep, run and change.
Open source: Open-source tools we maintain, such as Ziran, keep their own licences. Where one is part of your system, you use it under that licence, like any other open-source dependency.
References: We do not name clients unless they explicitly approve it. Public examples are sanitised so they cannot be traced back to a specific deployment.
